Just to be clear, the battery calibration needs to be done separately for the digital/analog batteries right? 100% to 0%, charge and repeat.

I’ve had this same issue on the DX220MAX for the longest time and every time I just plug in the charger for the analog part to charge it back to 100%. So you don’t see this issue after recalibrating the batteries right?

I checked that the 3Max was fully charged in the morning, unplugged, SHUTDOWN, went to the office.
This is what I see when I switched it back on..

I don't know if it's possible to find some Dx300max somewhere and if the platinium version will be available or but just in case, i have a few questions:
1) Is UAPP fully functional with DSD and Qobuz in Hires ?
2) is Neutron fully functional as dlna renderer, upnp access and not limited to 16b/44khz ?
3) as I bought both app (UAPP/Neutron) through the official Play Store, do I have to buy again those APP as apk for the DX300 and install through APK pure ?
4) is really Bluetooth DAC mode limited to AAC and SBC ? no LDAC ?
5) is the PEQ compatible with Bluetooth DAC and USB-C DAC ?
6) is USB-C OTG compatible with an external SSD or even a second microSD Card Reader like any android 9 smartphone ?

No, it is not. It is not fully functional even on DX300 and DSD is not working. Up to PCM384 works fine directly but not 768 and no DSD. This is rather a UAPP issue.

What you bought is available through Google Play Store.

No, it is not. And not for most (99%) of the DAPs out there. PEQ runs on the CPU (SoC) and in DAC mode, USB audio data is directly (over the FPGA) fed to the DAC without any SoC intervention. This is more of an HW design issue rather than software.

Yes, I was able to access my 4TB SSD disk.

It's a good news SSD can be accessed through USB-C connector.

I think, as I rarely use micro SD Cards at home or office, that without any access to my personal Upnp server, it will be a no-go for any ibasso DAP (like A&K for me), I definitely need Qobuz and Synology media server access and with a PEQ available on the path (either via source or via the dap itself).

What a challenge to find a powerful DAP with complete streaming features.. It makes me something like hopeless !!! I can't imagine such big deal for such common features in 2021.

Yes, you just install the Google Play Store through APKPure and it works.

I was able to access my UPnP server and play HiRes music without any issues using UAPP but MAX is just not officially supported and what would work is only PCM upto 384 kHz.

You are right. I just tried and I don't see the LDAC option on my mobile phone.

Yes, but they have a highly specialised HW, as they also do some other DSP processing, without Android etc., with a much simpler controller. If the FPGA acting as arbiter would have enough gates / capacity to implement some PEQ (meaning a more powerful FPGA), the current arhitecture of the latest DAPs with FPGA would allow that, but I don't think it is enough or foreseen.

FiiO _kind of_ promised implementing a system level PEQ for M17 but again I wouldn't be hopeful for a BT/DAC active PEQ.

Yes, as with my Fiio M11 I get all streaming features, I have to hope M17 will be powerful enough and can do the same as M11 and maybe make some PEQ applicable to the official Qobuz software too (for recording my playlists on the SDcard that UAPP can't do).

As I understand, both FiiO and iBasso uses "GW1NZ Ultra Low Power" as their FPGA and it is not a DSP FPGA, so unfortunately, HW PEQ is highly unlikely:
