I think the problem people (myself included) are experimenting is the path to move the zip file to the root of the internal memory. The option Move to is just not there.

I can confirm this as well. Have no idea where to move to the root either.

I can't see the native resolution on the bar...Native is 96khz and is showing ..48Khz. I think UAPP is not full compatible with DX300Max.

From what I have read so far, the files containing MQA datas are sent directly from the player (i.e. Tidal official app, UAPP, Roon, Aurender Conductor, etc.) in most majority in the 24/44.1 or 24/48 forms. Then after unfold they can become 24/96, 24/176.4, 24/192 and so on (it's theorically more 17/96, 17/176.4 but you stll get hirez playback) like the original master.

I simply think that for a reason, when the Android system is bypassed in the 3MAX, the information on the bar is the direct feed value of the MQA file. Not the unfold value. That seems to be the case according to my ears at least but of course, a confirmation by Paul from iBasso will be nice.

Do you have a rar Donwloaded?

If yes,you must unfold a rar.You will see a zip folder and read.txt.

You must copy or move a zip folder to Internal storage or Sd card.

You downloaded the .rar file, opened it up and got the folder with the Firmware, Instructions and log file and then placed the firmware in the folder, not the entire .rar, on the SD card to do the update?

Ah... erm... nope. The whole file. What does the firmware look like? Is it the largest file?

Unzip the .rar and there is a folder. You will see the FW as it is marked along with instructions.
