No, you are unzipping too far. Just unzip the first zip file you see when you download the FW and place that in the root of your DAP.

But what is puzzling, it's the fact that the 3MAX only show native file resolution (44.1 and 48) on the information bar at the top of it's screen.

UAPP shows in the “direct” the same 44,1 and 48. For example, this is how unfold Hiby R8 in UAPP:

Hey Whitigir That Sandisk Edge SD Card is wondrous! It's made my CD collection much more 'musical' and detailed. The sub base and soundstage is amazing and now my Depeche Mode listening is made even more detailed and 'deeper'. Thanks for the recommendation! Absolutely brilliant SD Card!

Did you ask UAPP developer about this? When using Tidal app and playing masters on 3MAX, sampling rate is displayed correctly in notification bar, like in this example where 3MAX did full MQA 16x unfolding:

Can you please tell me where you bought the Sandisk Edge sd card and does it look like?
