iBasso DX200 Bug Thread - Post Any Firmware Bugs/Issues Here
Mar 14, 2017 at 4:50 AM Post #62 of 333
Firmware: 2.0.78 beta
Bug Found in: Android
Issue Description: When using Wifi in Spotify or browsing, there are tiny noises.
Same phenomenon also occurs when using earphones on a laptop while using wifi or LAN. (using any gears or headphone)

I hope there is a firmware fix for this.

Firmware: 2.0.78 beta
Bug Found in: Both
Another noise would be while charging, there is a noticeable electric hum or buzzing sound in the back.

Hope this can be fixed via firmware too.

(This could be either hardware fault or noisy electric source, but I am using a clean signal from power conditioner + high quality Wurth Electronics shielded usb cable but still noise occurs , and yes trying also my CKS1000 earphone)

Firmware:    2.0.78 beta
Bug Found in: Android
Issue Description: Playback randomly stops. Resumes normally with button press and then stops again after a random time interval. This is in Spotify and Tidal with offline content saved to internal memory, have not experienced it in Mango.

Firmware:    2.0.78
Bug Found in: Android
Issue Description: Spotify app (various versions, including current official APK from Spotify) will log out and delete offline music upon reboot or restart.

Spotify support will become increasingly important when they launch a lossless tier, which they appear poised to do.

We are working on fixes for the 3rd party apps. Part of the problem is the interface and if the app changes something then problems can come up even if it was fixed in a prior version.

Bug Found in: Both
Issue Description: Playing 24bit 352khz file formatted as FLAC is not available.
But playing WAV is fine, only playing 24bit 352khz FLAC file needs to be examined.
First and last seconds are skipped even gapless function is on.

When in Android USB DAC mode, there is a buzz and a click in the left channel every few minutes. I'll test if it happens with Mango mode USB DAC too.

Firmware 2.1.94
Bugs found in Android Mango player.
Issue: Track listing appears to be in the correct order but when playing without shuffle on play order is not correct. Tracks appear to be played in alphabetical order of track title. This occurs not only when choosing via artist/album panel but also when selecting an album via the directory.

Not sure if this is Android platform issue... it may not be iBasso firmware related.

Bug Report Format

Firmware: 1.3.60
Bug Found in: Android Mode
Issue Description: Connected using USB-Type C to PC (Windows 7). Files deleted from SD Card will reappear. i.e. not able remove the files / folders from SD Card using default app "Explorer" or 3rd party file manage such as "ES File Explorer"

RESOLVED.

Tested with Firmware: DX200FW-2.1.94

Able to delete file from SD Card using default app "Explorer" in Android mode.

Note: Don't think it's firmware related but for some reason 3rd party file manager "ES File Explorer" still gives error and not able to delete files. Also, will need to reboot and re-connect DX200 for the deleted files to be reflected on Windows Explorer (when connected using USB-Type C to PC (running Windows 7).

Please try a factory reset after the update. I was able to get one player to do the track order problem and it was cleared after a factory reset. A few other DX200s did not have the order problem after the update.  Never mind. I still have it now. We will work on this.
