Anybody else facing this issue?
I don't see any other complains. Today I tried to reproduce the freezing issue, but failed. Please note that Mango OS player in 1.27b1 and 1.26b3 add-ons is exactly the same. So, it can be your local problem, related to SD-card, artwork etc.

I got the same rattling thing with my 2019 DX160. It doesnt appear to be the volume wheel or any of the buttons since I held those when I was shaking my unit. Must be something inside, not a big deal cause the unit still works fine but what could be the cause of it?

Mine had the rattling sound too. And now I can't unhear it. Damn.....! But with the earphones on 4.4 and enjoying music, I wouldn't be too bothered about it. But again like you said, curious as to what is it.

Most of the time if you hear anything, it is the volume control internally. It is not totally fixed into place and this is as designed. I have 3 test units, one I can hear fairly easy if I shake it, and the other two, just barely. It is normal.

I am reminded of rattle and hum.. Good to know this is by design, though a bit bizarre. Thanks @Paul - iBasso I ordered one finally!!

Hi all, our local store has sale demo dx160 2019 unit for $330, no idea about its condition though.
Is it a good deal? Or is it better to spend additional $90 to get 2020 edition?
TIA

I had to return my 2019 edition due to 3.5mm jack crackle and horrible wifi connectivity. Absolutely shell out for the 2020 over the 2019, but that 2019 edition left a bad taste in my mouth. Just clunky to use among other problems that should have never made it past launch.

If the 2020 edition fixed these problems, the 2019 version sounded great and I think it's absolutely worth considering.

I should mention that there is of course a chance that they'll release a revision in only a couple months with even more fixes improvements.

That's true. It should be continuous improvement either same product line or as a new product, but I guess not everyone can follow and/or wait for it.

I have used the 2019 a lot and have never found it to be clunky or slow in operation. No issues.

weird cause my two units both ran really poorly until I added the lurker firmware. however i do stream music so its not running thru ibasso's built in app
Yes, that is strange. I do streaming as well, very good sound and no real problems. I was using 5ghz.
