If it is stuck at the logo during boot. Then it it either a soft brick or hard brick. If it is soft brick then you should try turning it of and on to see if you can go past the logo or do as I said above and charge it overnight. If it is hard bricked then you are out of luck and you need to replace it. Bricking an android device usually only happens when you mess with it with root and such things.

The only thing i did before this happened is update to latest firmware via internet, and enable developer option, thats is

Update : i somehow can manage restore to the default firmware in page one using the instruction img file, but the problem still there when i tried search my sd card the device hang again and now back again to the intial problem, cannot connect, stuck in the logo, very weird

I would do a clear cache. Turn the unit off and then hold the play button and then the power button. With the first screen that comes up, release them and you to not the recovery mode. Now go down using the volume wheel to Wipe cache partition and initiate by pushing on the power button. The DX series can't be bricked but software can get messed up. See if that helps.

Just wondering... Using the Same microsd card? Did you add any files to the microsd during this time? Just wondering if card or a music file could be defective or bad format... specially since this happened when you tried to search the microsd... Try ejecting the card and turning on the dx160 without the card, then insert and re-scan? Or try a different card as a test?

You used the Android tool and .img on the first page to do a new factory install and without using the current SD card you have but using the internal memory to play music?

No, i scanned my sd card, music was on sd card, always put my songs on it

I just looking on playlist that i created before that contained my sd card songs, the one that i created on mango player, well i guess the list are also gone with factory install, maybe its in internal storage by default!?

The hang happened and back to start (getting stuck on logo) when i tried to search file on explorer on my sd card

Put some music on the internal memory, reset it again, but this time without the card in it. It sounds to me like the card is either defective, or not compatible, or something to that nature.

Also, when you say you are doing search in explorer, are saying that you are doing a scan from within Mango player, or are you actually using file explorer?

it's also possible he installed an older firmware ontop of a newer version. I accidentally did this with Android tool once and got all kinds of problems.

The best method is to use the zipfile inside the downloaded zip file from ibasso site (yes zip within a zip file).I always just put that zip file on the DX160 internal memory and update using the local file, then reset the device and apps.

Good point. I would still leave out the card until I knew everything was either working right or not, thus eliminating the card as a potential cause.

We do not absolutely know whay youve done with your dx160 to get it bricked. But using it the way it should be used wont brick the device IMO. I have done many experiments on android since the Nokia N9 days and lately it has been harder to brick android by just using it normally. Maybe you can tell us what changes you have done or how you were using the dx160 before this issue?

I honestly said to you, i did nothing harmful, just think logical reason, why i did that to a device i just bought yesterday and i want to enjoy as soon as possible, also i hate go to dealer and avoid this as possible since it costly to go there as well, actually not costly but wasting my time and also its kindda far, but if that's the only way then i guess no choice here beside go back again

The problem happened as i download latest firmware from the device itself via internet update, to v104.150, it got smoothly, after around 30 minutes play song then device hang/error when play song then this happened

Maybe i should've not update the firmware at all from the start, i never thought this can be happened

I did step in page one as soon as this detected as load bootloader when this got problematic (cannot enter)

My deduction is probably when update this via internet there's corrupt file, but i;m not sure since it works around 30 minutes playing song

if it's a corrupt file..Try updating via Bootable SD Card Method. Put the micro sd card into an adapter (USB or SD Card adapter) and follow Lurker's SD Card update method on your computer, then insert the bootable Micro SD Card into the Dx160 and boot it up. That should fix it for you. (everything on the SD Card will be wiped out. You can reformat it after to use it again.

Follow his instructions and that should work out for you.

As many know, I have been really enjoying my DX 160, with my iems. However, I discovered a killer pairing with my Sony MDR-1A over ear portable full sized cans. This pairing sounds extremely good, and oh my that bass hits hard, and the stage is huge.
