people said that is a cable issue, and it does work by using samsung original cable, which have the same length as the original one,
That's why I just don't even use the stock cable, and I have no issues at all. :)

I guess i had very bad luck with the new unit, unit death now, cannot be charged, cannot detected at all suddenly when playing song theres hang-noise pitch song i played repeatedly. and thats not in usb dac mode, only on dap balance mode, the battery level is about 30~ish percent, i restarted the unit and then the unit cannot be turned on after it, i guess monday i will go to the dealer again to see what the problem is

Oh yeah, before that i update the unit firmware via internet update to the latest version and there's no problem as usb dac solved, and then unit death cannot be turned on, cannot be charged, cannot be detected via usb...

I kindda regret my decision selling my usb/dac portable...before i used hiby r3 combo with ifi hip dac with no problem found like this (both are sold now for financing dx160), either i;m in bad luck or just a sign for me to stay simple setup... even thought this unit sound wonderful than my previous combo setup, update firmware also works smoothly no fatal problem as well, i still really want this dx160 because i love their sound, hope this problem can be fixed, i never thought this android dap will be painful experience like this...

If all else fails, you can try and hold the power button for like 15 seconds (don't remember the exact time recommended from iBasso) to reset the device and see if that fixes it. The good news is that if there is indeed a problem with the device, iBasso has pretty good customer support, and they will work with you on any issue you might have. Stick with it, when you have a good device, it is really a gem.

Hope things go better for you soon. :)

Edit: From the iBasso DX160 user's manual:
Reset: When the DX160 stop unexpectedly during operation and the keys are no longer responsive, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to reset the DX160.

@kith86 Try letting it charge overnight and see if it works after. Had something similar to your problem many years ago when I was messing around with my Android phone trying to Root it and Custom Room it and stuff. And charged it overnight managed to resurrect it somehow. If it doesnt work then I do as the others told you and contact customer support. GL with it.

Actually this is a pretty good idea. Sometimes with android, the OS loses track of the actual charge a battery may have, and you should drain it until the device turns off by itself, then recharge it back to 100%. This supposedly let's the OS be able to report the charge accurately (recalibrate itself). It is actually recommended to do this with anything that has a mobile battery about once a month, even something like Surface Pro, and etc...

That is true, it's worth a try...

battery on dx220 and dx200 is actually pretty easy to swap out. It is a removable package that is plug and play.

if you have concern about battery life, I don’t think anything would beat Sony products. Sony products are like Zombies. My ZX2 is still healthy and hold charge fine
Do you have any handy comparisons with the ZX2? I had that one and sounded wonderful but the dated OS and overall user experience killed it for me...

Update guys : Problem solved

The solution : must use usb debungging first from developer options and set to audio usb then no more problem so far
Nah thats not the solution, usb routing should automatically change to audio when u turn on the dac, what i am seeing here is unrefined firmware, ibasso need to come out with better update

If it is stuck at the logo during boot. Then it it either a soft brick or hard brick. If it is soft brick then you should try turning it of and on to see if you can go past the logo or do as I said above and charge it overnight. If it is hard bricked then you are out of luck and you need to replace it. Bricking an android device usually only happens when you mess with it with root and such things.

Sounds like you have corrupted OS. If it DOES power on, you could try and flash the official FW from ADB on a computer. But if you don't feel like going through all that, you certainly fall into the category of getting it exchanged. You shouldn't have to do this yourself to have a working device. I would only do it because I wouldn't want to wait for another. But then again, I don't have any dealers anywhere me, so would have to send it back via shipping.

If you return it, let us know how it goes?!

True, but it has been my experience that even a hard brick can be fixed as long as the hardware has not been damaged, and it can at least power on.
