both AMP7 (single ended) and AMP8 (balanced) are more powerful. however the battery life will take a hit with them.even though it seems fine for now ill do it..thanks...oh and is there a more powerfull amp that sounds like amp 6?
I get 8 to 8.5 hours with AMP8 in to SE846 on DX150both AMP7 (single ended) and AMP8 (balanced) are more powerful. however the battery life will take a hit with them.

AMP6 SE: 2.4Vrms / Balanced: 4.8 Vrmswhat is Mw output with 6,7,8?
LCD-XC...and there is a Differnce between enough power to make them go loud and Powered RIGHT like straight out it will get them loud but you can tell like they arent being opened up like they need more power, when i use it with my Cayin C5, sound is hard to explain, i guess more "FULLER" would be the word? What headphones do you intend to use? Both Amp 6 and 8 has more than enough power for the headphones I use.
Aeon Open and Amiron, rough numbers. With amp 8, 105-120/150 in low gain with 120 being very loud. Amp 6 single ended has a bit less power but can drive both headphones with ease in high gain.

With DX220 right around the corner do you guys think iBasso will bring the updated Mango player to DX200/DX150? or maybe Lurker can port the app to our devices.
I hope they do give us the new mango player. The UI looks pretty outdated compared to something like the new AK DAPs' UI.I was asking Paul the same and he said that he will take this request to their software team. So DX150 and DX200 owners might be stuck with the old UI for sometime at least

I understand if they don't want to give us the new UI right away to keep the demand for the new player high. But ultimately if they do, it's a good sign that they care about their older users and can lead to better sales.I hope so too. This UI does not seem to be fit for a 500$ and 850$ device. And considering many consumers have even put in additional money into the amps, this is an ecosystem we are investing in and not just one player, right? That's what I believe.
This new UI could solve a lot of problems for so many current users who have been with iBasso for quite some time. I really hope they consider our request to revamp the old UI on DX150 and DX200 with the new one they have planned for DX220.

Despite the fact that DX220 has double the amount of RAM I'm sure 2GB is more than enough to handle any music player application without any problem.
