Holy crap getting iTunes playlists in sync on my Mac has been close to impossible. Every single program I've tried has had ONE critical error, each different.

Clementine: Renames the files when it copies them, so I can't just fudge the file paths in exported playlists.
TunesSync: Skips ALAC files (even though they can be played). Almost all the 1000+ files I want to copy are ALAC.
Winamp: Errors on trying to read my iTunes library.
Songbird: Claims my DX100 isn't in USB Mass Storage mode, when it is.

I just copy a cd in iTunes and then drop it into a folder with the name of the album after I get the album art and then drop that file onto a SD card or the internal memory, though my internal memory is now filled as are 4 32gb cards and working on a 62gb now.

I haven't heard the ESW10 JPN sound any better. I have around 250 hours on the player and what a joy. I don't seem to have any glitches and use the stock player most all the time though I enjoy the art on the Power Amp player.

You have to make sure the numbers under 10 have a 0 in front of them. Many of mine didn't so the sequence was off. Once I added 01 etc, everything was in order.

Just make sure you understand that rooting the DX100 is like opening the bonnet on your car: Not dangerous at all, but it gives you access to seriously mess up the engine. Be careful, if you freeze or remove one wrong service or app you will transform your $829 DAP into an $829 paperweight.

Oh yeah - Luckily I'm 1.93m (6ft4in) so at least I'm not a human sphere. Yet.

Easy go and buy 2 DX100 and you will have 14 hrs

I really had my eye on this player due to the Internal 64GB space + SD compatibility and, of course,
the need for an amp would be nil... but battery performance really kills it for me... (I work 9+ hours a day
and I need the player to get me through the day without charging... currently use an Archos 7 160GB which STILL gives me
20+ hours of continuous play... for amp I use the c421...)

Hope you guys are enjoying it though!!!

Are any of you guys able to add the music player widget to the home screen when running Go Launcher?

The stock widget is not a real widget per se. The "widget" screen is hard coded into the launcher. I've reported this as an issue in the bugs/suggestion thread.

Ah - gotcha! Too bad, I kinda like that widget

The stock launcher and the stock player are clunky, slow and cumbersome, but all is forgiven when the music starts playing. The DX100 just continues to impress, no matter what I throw at it.
