IBasso Audio IT03

I have both the IT03 and the IT01. Both are fun and sound great but if you can get the IT03 for the same price as the IT01 I would definitely get the IT03 as that is a great deal. You can always just buy a new IT01 later if you feel so compelled.

Agree with all points, especially if the IT 03 is in good condition, you can always get the IT 01 later.

IT03 fresh from the shop and whew lads, after spending a few weeks with the Periodic Be this is a heck of an adjustment. It's wild how your ear adjusts to a sound sig.

Update: something seems to be amiss with the IT03. The low end has vanished. This isn't an adjustment thing. I put on some hip hop on my phone and the bass was just not there. It's almost like the dynamics aren't firing at all.

Will investigate further.

That helped, but man something feels way off with this set. Like they're a lot more brittle than before. Even compared to my P1 and 1More Quad.

Maybe you are suffering from beryllium withdrawal...

Let the IT03 burn in a bunch (50hrs or so) Mine went through a very "up and down" sound journey through the first bunch of hours. Sounded great, then sounded terrible, then opened up and sounded great and balanced. Hope this is the case for yours.

I'll give 'em time. I'm not in any hurry. Fingers crossed, haha.

One of the few iems that actually needed about 100 hours burn in. The sound sig changes quite abit especially the bass.

Still going strong . I re-terminated the cb12 cable to 4.4mm plug. Loving the it03 with the Sony wm1a

This is my 2nd pair, or my first back from repairs (not sure how they did it). Something seems palpably different on this one.

EDIT: Something is definitely off. The IT03 went from being a powerhouse to a brittle mess. I thought it was an issue in comparing them to my Periodic Be (which can seem hella bassy), but the 1More Quad and Mee P1 both still sound roughly like I recall.

I dunno what's going on or how to address it.

Good call. Email sent. I hate being "that guy" because I did just get them repaired but like... god damn I loved them before and I don't know what's happening. They were like my favorite IEM of all time and something seems different.
