Just ordered this iem from penon based on your comparision to andro. I am thinking of ordering a copper from impact audio. Price is right.

I'm seriously considering this IEM, too. Two reasons why. First, I've always been curious about Oriolus. Second, I've heard Andromeda and was highly impressed.
audio123: Why the recommend for an aftermarket copper cable? Is the cable that comes with it silver or SPC? Stock cable brightens them up too much?

yes. copper cable helps to tone down the highs and makes it more full bodied.

Seriously guys, does this IEM really get close to any of the higher end ones such as the CA Andromeda? To which IEM do you feel it is close to? I'm considering to get one from Penon. It's available there for $265.

yes it is close. empire ears spartan 4 on steroids imo.

Twister said that the IT03 has slightly more resolving and detailed mid-range than the Andromeda.
