My question is, would tracks such as the one I'm linking to sound amazing on the SR80i's (colorful,punchy,bassy as the track's impression was intended) ?

I don't have SR80i's, but I did try with my SR60i.  For this type of electronic music I prefer my Creative Aurvana Live!
