I think you're reading far too much into the descriptions. As far as the improved angled and dads, that's all the same - they say it's the improved angle DADS, so I assume that yes, maybe the bass response may be a bit better, but it doesn't give any insight into the rest of the frequency. Bigger earcups certainly don't mean better sound, too.
It's kind of like the whole new Sennheiser open phones. They use all this great new technology like Bionetic design, etc, but I don't recall anyone here who thinks the 590 is a clear improvement over the 580, or even a slight improvement. Not that I'm saying the A1000 isn't going to be better. It very well might be, but a better description doesn't automatically make a better product.
Descriptions can be deceiving. Especially when the descriptions are being translated, sometimes not all that well, from Japanese (as is obviously the case with some of the stuff on audiocubes). And remember, every company markets their newest model as the latest-greatest thing. You wouldn't see too many sales if people marketed the new model with a slogan like "it's only a little better than the last one."

I think that the D.A.D.S. will have a big impact , and I think that the ear cups will be a little bigger and the better angeled drivers will be a big improvement all making a more conferable can with better bass and a better sound stage. The A1000 has no ti in it. PURK I thought that you ordered a pair of the A1000. If the sound is not much of an improvement I have a hang mans nose all set up. LOL |
