I pretty much only listen to 192KB/s encoded MP3's through my Nomad Jukebox 3. Do you guys think I should start doing variable bit rate for higher quality sound?

I've got a pair of W100's and I listened to 'em for the first time last night. I think I'm going to listen to them exclusively for two weeks before I make my mind up.

You have a foot hopping, jam dancing setup - I have no doubt. I too have a MD, wi th a Supreme and Grados/ER-4ps... I am equally as pleased with my arrangement as you are with yours. The 'evil doers'

are trying to get you to loosen the purse strings just when you are feeling like you have obtained nirvana. I feel your dancing feet all the way on the east coast. I love portable and the fun of burning mini's optically and the excellent sound.

I wish you kept the A100ti a bit longer to do a comparison b/w the two. IMO, if A1000ti is actually better than the A100ti, the difference will be very minimal. Well, that is my thought on it anyway. When will your precious A1000ti arrives?

I can't afford the A1000 at this time, so I have to pass. I'm very satisfied with the A100ti, so....I'll stick with it. Good luck on the A1000ti.
