Can anyone recommend a good hifi insurance provider?
Your gonna need it for all the rain we will have during the rest of the year. Good luck.

As standard luxury items are covered under policy without disclosure. Any single item over £15K has to be disclosed.Briefly under which section or scheme is their audio hifi coverage given and can you monthly by direct debit with them?
Usually the insurance includes all the gods that you have in your house for the max valor you had choose. For special itens like an expensive paint, ring, etc. you contract a special coverThanks there. It's surprising the lack of dedicated hi end audio insurers.

I love your post as I'm in the middle of doing a rain dance in the hope that rain comes and cools things down, as us northerners are not bred for heat like this.
We (in the east midlands) had a huge thunder storm a couple of nights ago where there were high winds, terrific lightning and thunder and then a big downpour but far from clearing the mugginess it just returned to the same immediately afterwards.
We had some cracking thunder and lightning last week.
I hate the heat, I have Hypothyroidism and Rheumatoid Arthritis which means I have a constant low grade fever and even in winter, I don't need the heating on or sleep under the duvet.
Hot days are in my room 101 for sure.
I'm thinking of bailing and living further north if this crap looks like it's going to be our summers from now on, orkney, shetland or maybe iceland, I'm not 100% sure, but for the last few summers I've been saying it and I don't think I can handle another summer in this super insulated sauna that is called a house.
Somebody is lieing to us regarding global warming, as where I'm located, this isn't normal summer time weather, same for winter.
And still salesmen come round asking if I want cladding and insulation!
I say are you joking?
Semi detached house never a problem in cold, but last few summers.....
I gave in last year and tried to get a quote for aircon. Apparently too busy, never bothered to call back after one phone call.
Yeah, tell me about it, semi here also. Only a day or two ago was I googling for air conditioners, I was about to buy a mobile 12'000 btu one and then read, "needs a window open to hang the tube out of" What, tube ?
I can't be having tubes hanging out the windows, my neighbours think I'm an idiot already, anymore tubes hanging out at my pad and they really will start freaking out.
Sadly the aircon was put on hold, much to my annoyment!
The only salesmen I get is pikeys wanting to lay a new drive in a day, you know the type, dry tar that never hardens, or you have to pay for materials upfront and they never come back, every summer time my city seems to be plagued with them and their "oh sir, them 2 ton boulders that need a jcb to lift were not blocking the entrance to this lovely unspoilt green when I parked my caravan on it, how they suddenly moved is a mystery", and then dumping used nappys and tv's and human waste on sites of natural interest.
The luck o the irish, they all won the free caravan and horse lottery with bundled ferry tickets to the UK. Seriously tho, gypsys need loving to.
Yeah, the heat, it's nuts and very uncomfortable.
