Hugo TT 2 by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread

Today I installed ten clip on ferrites on my BNC cable feeding the TT2. If I had any complaints about the TT2 after the first two days of ownership, it would be that all the detail coming through can be a little overwhelming, and the sound leaned towards the bright side. This is only through speakers I am talking about. The ferrites definitely have smoothed the sound out, took the edge off, so they appear to be doing their job. I am not sure if the TT2 requires burn in or not, so maybe I should just leave it playing for a week or two before tweaking things? Another thing I may try next is single end connections between the TT2 and my Anthem amp, right now I am using XLR connections between the two, Any thoughts on this? Also, I can move the TT2 from my TV rack to an empty shelf on my Naim Fraim, to see if better physical isolation adds anything positive. The Fraim also helps with cable management/dressing, which also could be a plus...so many things to try, one day at a time.

The in stock symbol is permanently on. If they have them all the better.

Briefly under which section or scheme is their audio hifi coverage given and can you monthly by direct debit with them?

I just renewed my home insurance and was sure to check it covered mscaler/tt2.
Standard house hold coverage is for 40k of items.
Rare items are stamps or jewellery, hifi is not a special category requiring dedicated coverage (they told me)

Legal and general, I also got 3k cover for taking mobile possessions out of the house, so I’m covered for phone, mojo poly, headphones in worst case scenario.

It only covers items intended to be used in a mobile manner.
So dropping mojo is not covered under normal insurance as it’s considered a mobile item.
