Annoying. Hopefully it gets sorted quickly and customer service seems to be good.
Well, it’s the centerpiece of my combined 2.1 and headphone system so merely annoying doesn’t cut it! I was aware of the TT2 issues when I purchased but hoped it wouldn’t affect me. Right now, I’m currently running both TT2 and M-Scaler from batteries and it works perfectly. Honestly it sounds better if possible. @ra990 suggested to me to run my TT2 from battery to avoid this problem but I’d rather know and get it repaired. My main concern is being without it for a while so I will call my dealer Monday and see where this heads! Ahhh…adventures in high end equipment…oh well…maybe they can give me a loaner.

Listening right now with both TT2 and M-Scaler operating from batteries. I swear it sounds better. Obviously I need to address the power supply issue and the failure to start when connected to the supply but I’m not anxious to be without the TT2 for an extended period. I may just roll with it for a while and see what like with batteries only is like but inevitably I’ll have to get it fixed. I’ve waited an eternity for my Abyss 1266 so I’m not anxious to send the TT2 off, but………

Repair times are very quick lately in the uk, 2 week turnaround hopefully.

I just received an SRC DX and connected via dual BNC to my TT2. My gain about halved; I need to crank up my volume to almost max on my tube preamp and TT2 to get to the same listening volume. Does anyone else experience something similar? Is it normal?
My chain is Alo Digione Signature (as Hqplayer naa) into src-dx into TT2 dual bnc. Thanks guys!

Use ropieee as the software on the sig and on the first page set the switch to force vol to 100% on startup. The DX needs the alsa mixer to be set to 100%.

Yeah, I agree with regards to 2 week turnaround, my one was a week’ish but…..I have had a 4-5 week wait before. but I suppose it‘s just down to man power and their support department.

However thats my tuppence regarding the turnaround situation.

Just when I think things can’t get stranger, I tried an experiment with my TT2 and my battery power supply since my Chord power supply only results in clicks when I attempt to use it. I have my battery plugged in to charge while still connected to the TT2. I turned the battery on and TT2 works perfectly when I power it up separately. In effect, my battery is acting as a continuous power supply replacing theChord power supply. Interesting, but I still have to get it fixed of course. Very strange IMHO.

Thanks for the encouragement. I can just move my Focal Arche over to temporarily replace the TT2 until it’s fixed and still use my 2.1 system as well. A pain, but I’ll live. Damn those pesky first world problems!

The battery has pass through charging, so there is no reason that shouldn't work. They stopped selling those Ravpower batteries... I wish I had purchased another one before selling out.

I might not understand your entire situation with your TT2, but it sounds like you are having a power supply issue and the TT2 is fine.

I’ve just had an epiphany, it’s been roughly a year when i last used my Mr Speakers Aeon closed headphones on my Mscaler & TT2 setup. I didn’t like them from the start as they completely lacked in bass

Anyway, They have been sitting in a drawer doing nowt, so last night I was in said drawer to get something else and boom, I saw my Aeons, so I decided to try them on my Mojo & Poly and..……. they sounded great, much much better than when I tried them on my bigger setup a year or so ago.

The Aeons gel together very well with mojo & poly and, they sound much better than when they are connected to MScaler and TT2. ( thats just my opinion )

I think the mojo dac gives out a much warmer sound compared to hugo 2 and TT2, again in my opinion.
