Can anyone recommend a windows music software file as music player usb based to tt2.

Foobar seems ok trial period but seems bit clunky .....anything better cheaper?

I recommend you forget all about this kind of player and just listen to streaming music. I have done that and I do not miss messing around with music files and player settings one minute. Foobar is fine, but I found it ugly and a pain to set up and use.

I use Tidal and I love it. You have to pay but it is well worth it.

I use Audirvana for Mac as my source into TT and a Windows version is now available. Highly recommended, reasonably straightforward to set up and integrates well with both Tidal and Qobuz. There is a 30 day free trial too... https://audirvana.com

I agree. I am using Tidal. Bestbuy had a recent deal for 1 year Tidal HIFI w/ MQA for $99. Up to $119 now but still a decent deal vs $20 per month.

Hi,

Can you recommend me a good adapter for the xlr outs to a regualr 4 pin connector?

I have this cheap adapter which works but it makes the sound fatiguing:

https://www.amazon.com/Female-Balan...+3+pin+xlr+to+4+pin+xlr&qid=1598922797&sr=8-3
I would check that adapter before using anymore. Do you have a voltmeter or maybe a visual inspection - only pin 1 *or* 2 should have any connection at all? That looks like an adapter I had that had both pin 1 and pin 2 connected together, which will short out the negative outputs. It will work single-ended, but not balanced. If you have shorted out the negative outputs, the unit will have to be sent back for repair.

If everything works for you (I hope) then Moon Audio can make a decent adapter for ~$120

MusicBee is great, full support for ASIO, WASAPI, DSD, Multichannel, also has the old OpenGL winamp visualization library support which is great for turning on and tripping out. And best of all, it's free!

Other than form factor and it's designed as a counterpart, my knowledge ends there. @Hooster thinks it's awful. Since its the table top line I'd think it's designed for "bookshelf" speakers only but @Rob Watts would have to give details on design concept.

However, when I Google I get this. 100w RMS per channel @ 0.016% distortion into 4Ω. Why would you need published into 8Ω???

Ttoby is a rocking amp. What HiFi reviewed the Ttoby on the 24th June 2020. They concluded one of the finest power amps for the money.

Almost every review of the Ttoby says it grips speakers better than amps with much more power or cost. … (One review said it controls hard to manage speakers better than more powerful and costly amps too. One review tested it with the £10,000 ATC SMC50 , and said they had rarely sounded better controlled or gripped. Can't remember the details.)

Does anyone know of a replacement PSU for the TT2, I suspect that mine somehow died when I moved recently. Shouldn't be too expensive as it's just to see if my PSU is the culprit.
Thanks!

I bought an extra from Moon Audio if you're in U.S.

Awesome...

...you can't compare it to a KRELL.

I purchased a dual 3 pin XLR to 4 pin XLR adapter cable from Corpse Cable made out of Cardas. I would like to test the balanced out of the back of my TT2 with some headphones but scared of ruining something. Should this “standard” adapter work to get the best out of the “balanced out” of the TT2? Anything I should double check with a multimeter before plugging my expensive headphones?
