thanks Whazzzup. i didn't see the new drop down menu giving you the option to search this thread, this forum etc.

something a bit off topic. if you used eq'ing to boost the bass or treble over a prolonged period could this actually change the physical construction of the headphone itself?

I just saw Jude in a video talking about the new 2go and 2you attatchment, which will enable the 2go to be used with the Mscaler/TT2, or any other DAC. Any idea about pricing on this combo? The next question is will it outperform all these battery run ,optical isolated ,ferrited cable covered solutions that many people seem to be using? I saw the video onPink fish media, I am not sure if they have anything on the Chord website.

What is 2you ?
It plugs into the 2go, and enables you to use the streamer (2go) with other DAC’s. Maybe someone can post a link to Jude’s video about can jam New York, I saw it on pink fish media, he shows the new products in the first couple of minutes.

:scream_cat: battery in TT2 will never die!!! TT2 has no batteries!
i think rob says the capacitors do have a lifetime, but its very large and not to worry.

anyhow, i've hooked up my £80 second hand BW602 speakers to tt2 and its amazing. i forgot how amazing it is. headphones just cant get close to what speakers can do, the 'stereo image' could be one of mans greatest inventions.

No. Because we run those ferrited cables and other stuff between M Scaler and Chord DAC. 2GO+2YU have nothing to do with that because it would sit before M Scaler.

Hmm...
That is pretty much half-way between horrendous and reasonable I'd say.

And places it in the company of fairly decent stand alone network bridges and streamers. Mmmm better than a sotm sms200 ultra neo or Auralic g1??

Tt2 and HMS off grid, ahb2 fed by power supply cleaned by 7 number ifi ac purifier in reverse polarity, laptop usb out cleaned by 3 number ifi isilencer in series and usb power replaced by a 4xAA battery pack using ifi idefender, full furutech custom cabling including alpha ag dual bnc cables. Both Ahb2 and tt2 in low gain mode and ahb2 directly fed by tt2 without any pre. 5inch full range bookshelf speakers. Few fertites on dual BNC and usb cables,Usb cable oyaide class A neo and Martin Taylor and tommy Immanuel- colonel and governer cd quality music on play. I bet it is very difficult to beat the sheer entartainment quotient of this whole set up.

Which filter on the TT2 best resembles the HF Fil "On" on the Dave? Filter 2 perhaps?

For the people who use TT2 with a computer and occasionally watch movies, do you find using crossfeed is a no-go for movie watching?

hi @Rob Watts

why does my tt2 sound subjectively much better to me in low gain mode ? with my hd800s....

as surely high gain should sound better?

is there more to this then just 1 transistor diode thing ?

I'm not alone in these thoughts.

by better (i mean its more toe tapping, leg jigging, head bopping, groove riding lol)

Are you driving speakers or headphones? And are you using an additional amp?
