Good choice. I think the TT2 will be an excellent first pairing with your Susvara. If you decide to get an amp later on, try to do some honest blind testing. That's how I knew the amps I tried were not adding anything, only taking away from the fidelity of the TT2.
Thanks blindtest is so important. Thank you😊🙌

What xlr4 pin adapter do you use?

I created my own. Whatever you do, don't buy a cheap one from Amazon. If wired incorrectly (where pins 1 and 3 are shorted) will destroy your XLR outs on the TT2. Get one built from a reputable source that makes them specifically for the TT2.

Thanks I will. Audioquest makes one. But I can not find it.

Maybe I should order one from Forza.

No, I am more than happy with the SE performance on my Meze Elite. I would only use the XLR out for active speakers, as intended.
Same here -- Elite are pretty efficient. At this point, my XLRs are feeding either my DSHA-3F, Liquid Platinum or the amp section of my Master 11.

I tried the XLR outs with my Heddphones and my Ether 2, but in the end decided that the SE front-panel outputs had sufficient power to render me deaf without the boost supplied by the XLRs. Never heard enough variation in the sound otherwise to point at either SE or Balanced output as 'better'.

Of course I've never owned or even demoed Susvara.

Wow, that was a quick mind change. Why don't you try it and see if it works before jumping into amplification? Like I said, once you have the TT2, you can drive the Susvara well - then see if you desire anything more.

I used to drive the Susvara out of TT2 XLR, AHB2, etc. I eventually gave up on it when I accidentally didn't follow the order of operations (e.g. plug in after everything is on, or plug out first before turning everything off). Nothing happened, but I realized human error is a thing and I just didn't want to stress about it all the time. Using a headamp is just "easier" which is of course relative for everyone.

Im gonna try it with SE ofcourse. It has

7.3W/8Ohm this compared to 2.4W/32Ohm(ifi diablo)

If the diablo is stronger in SE, then I think I know the TT2 is weak for Susvara but “okay” for Arya

Im paranoid about the preamp

Regardless power the Diablo is simply no match for the TT2...

This order is important even when only connecting susvara to preamp…or was it with AHB2 its important?

I think im safe buying headphone amp later then

It is good for you to be cautious, until we can post links to the 'best practice ' identified by head-fiers during the Past few years.
