Never heard the Dave but with the TT2 do any of you find that instrument separation is sometimes sub par? Or things get a bit muddied with complex passages? Thanks.

Actually, I felt the same. Not TT2 fault, but more because of the LCD-5 has narrow depth presentation. No problem at all when switch to Elite or Diana TC.

Just received a new tt2 and have in my presence a sealed new mscaler both in black. It also took me a year to go from silver tt2/hms to dave to qutest/anni /mscaler before realising i was happiest with mscaled tt2. My original silver tt2 did not make any sound at all.
Did you ever get to try out the Dave with Mscaler? What do you like from the TT2/HMS over the Dave?

They are seriously outpacing even this crazy inflation. My Chord units better last much, much longer than their warranty...
