So ive got the TT2 now. Just how much of an improvement is the Mscaler on the sound of the TT2? I love the TT2 sound. Does the Scaler
keep the signature of TT2 and just improve it. Or are the changes more pronounced?
Here you have some of my first impressions when I listened to m scaler:

And yes the change is big, but be sure to make comparison using better bnc cables than the stock ones.
Is the improvement worth extra money ? That's something you have to answer yourself. For me - no doubt it is.

It's like playing everything in high resolution, in a nutshell

The TT2 made me smile. The M Scaler made me smile with ALL of my music even the non hi-res ones. Not only that, I have face cramps now because of the constant stupid grin I have every time I listen to this combo.

have you tried removing your euforia from your chain?

it has been said blu 2 CD is the ultimate reference.

Sure the Blu2 has the M-scaler built in but I can't imagine the ageing Philips CD-Pro mechanism/electronics is on the same level as as say the Esoteric VRDS Atlas. Ultimate reference might be a bit of a stretch.

ultimate reference with respect to the total of all chord products and what they are capable of. i haven't heard the competition at this level so i can't comment.

Euforia? Is there a new headphone from Focal I don’t know about? Not sure about upgrading—I’d have a hard time leaving Utopia.

it is the simplicity of the cd mechanism and circuitry in the Blu2 which is often claimed to be its strength in terms of sound quality because that very simplicity helps in the search for a low noise source in the audio chain.

Just got the Mscaler hooked up using the stock BNC cables with about 10 clip on ferrites on each cable. Sounding really good right off the bat, but I want to make sure the lights look right to you guys. I have the BNC input 1 hooked up from my NDS, and set it to Auto select, I think that is why the second from the left button is pink, but according to the manual BNC 2 should be pink, not 1.The first and third button are white, and the fourth from left (DX OP) keeps reverting to red after I cycle through to turn it off, is this right? It does go off for a few seconds, then comes on again.

The first light should be off for full upscaling.

I think the color of the fourth light shows the sampling frequency, red being 44.1kHz, which is Red Book (CD).

Ok I pushed it a couple of times and it went off, so I now have purple on the second, white on the third, and the fourth still wants to turn red.

Sounds right, except fourth should directly reflect the sample rate of the source material being input to the mscaler. If it does not match then your pc or whatever is doing its own rescaling which is Very bad for mscaler and so you would need to work our why.
