I have constantly become very frustrated because my MDR- V6 cable is very long and gets in the way. So I cut the cord thinking that it would be easy to shorten the cable and still obtain sound. So when the cord was cut i had three different colors of strand, a bronze, green, and red. For some reason when I place all the cords back together I don't get any audio. How do I rejoin the cables so I can get audio again from the headphones. And if I cannot rejoin them is it possible for me to replace the cord?
