Ive had the m50's for a year and I really enjoy them, but now its time to get a replacement.

I was thinking of buying the TF10 and I would like to know how the sound quality compares to the m50.

Some people think there is a similarity.  Apart from a generic oversimplification of both being "v"-shaped I find them not even in the same league.  A properly driven M50 is on another level compared to the TF10 IMO.  The mids are far more neutral and balanced, the low end is far more sophisticated and detailed as is the rest of the spectrum in general.  Some seem to like the TF10 treble a lot, I had no such luck.  I actually got the right side treble driver to distort on the same part of the same song 100% of the time regardless of source or amp.  I'd take the HJE900 over the TF10 anyday and find it closer to the M50 except in the low-end.

I disagree, I find the triple fi to be better than m50.
