I usually use google shopping.  I have invisible hand installed but rarely works as usually isn't the lowest price with google shopping give me better prices.  Think only once in a full moon invisible hand actually gives a proper deal.

Obsessively check the For Sale forum and immediately pounce when something shows up that is perfect and cheap.  If you don't like it (and you initially got a good deal) you can always resell and lose little to no money.
