Searching on google for information on the Koss ESP9. found some, regestered a bit later, and started posting properly even later than that.

I found head-fi when I bought by first pair of good headphones (Sony-7506) but had never joined a forum so I kinda ignored it initially. Looking back I have to say that I'm glad I did. I would have probably ended up with the SR-125 or SR-80 instead, which though I like the grado sound, I think it would have left me looking for something else too soon. I came back later looking to see what else there was in the high-end and I've been here since that day, and I love it.

i also found head-fi through headwize, which i found through google. i was searching for a replacement for my sony streetstyles. wish i would've found this site a lot earlier. but then i'm not sure if it would've been good or bad. i would've spent more money on audio equipment sooner if i did.

ditto. forgot what sent me to headwize. bought a pair of SR-80s shortly before i started checking out headwize though. Maybe then wanted to see what people had to say about my phones and searched on google/altavista/whatever?
