  Had to switch back to the old firmware..
 
The taiji 2 demo has another big bug for my 901. 
 
For those who experience channel imbalance after turning on the 901, which can be fixed by plug/unplug the earphone several times, or turn on/off the "balance/normal" switch, once it's fixed it will be fine until you switch 901 off. But the new firmware does it almost every time when I play a new song. so annoying. I think it's because the new firmware plays a song much faster, the UI (with that little pop sound) didn't have enough time to adjust the sound to the centre. 
 
This issue has to be fixed in the final version! 

@tupac0306 Hi, my 901 also has this problem, and it happens after every song on 2.001 - did you ever manage to fix this?

The latest one is v2.002, probably not a final release version yet. I'm on this version for for nearly half a year already, so far so good.

Just had to send my 901 back for repair/exchange, the returns address now is in the USA.
I feel like I have lost a loved one

I have taken a try to 2.002; well it is beta and it is not stable. It seems to be faster, but 2.001 is much more stable. At least for now

Gold Minibox takes my interest; Elfidelity cards seem to have different tastes compared to Hifiman own cards. Gold Minibox seems to be an upgrade over standart Minibox.

I'm waiting now for LOD cable to check how good is 901's line out. I have one question though - should I set the volume at maximum level (like with iBasso players) while connecting 901 via line out to my amp?
