Got it but what are the changes in the Anniversary Edition?
New shell and better venting, right before the Anniversary Edition came they slightly refined the Mega5EST. They made it smaller and more ergonomic, changed the venting to be better. The drivers was still the same as the version released some years back, but the small shell tuning did change the sound a little.

Then this summer they made the vent hole a little different again that sparked the debate about the silent retune change, this added mostly just some extra clarity to the tuning and was so small most people probably couldn't have AB in a blind test. All the drama would have been avoided if they just mentioned this openly before the change, I bet Hisenior learnt a few things from this.

Right now it has basically been:
Mega5EST OG(Discontinued)
Mega5EST Anniversary
Mega5EST Silent Retune(Discontinued)
Mega5EST Bass (this should be the excact same as the collab version with HBB)

So now it should only be 2 variants unless some ask directly for the silent retune, I know folks who bought this instead as they want the extra clarity.

Anyway dont quote me 100% here, just what I picked up from following the forums and talking with Gareth from Hisenior.

Does the vent hole remain the same after you got it tuned back to og? Just trying to determine if the difference in port hole (round vs olong) if the tell sign for the two different versions.
Sorry for the late response. Was busy IRL so I missed your reply.

Mine had the oblong shaped vent hole when I had bought it, and it is the same shape after I got mine tuned to OG.

It would also be wise to cross reference this to make sure it's actually true before mentioning it in your own video.

Stuff like this needs concrete proof otherwise it can put the business in bad light, which can come back on you if they decide to get legal.

Just a heads up.

Already Gave Disclaimer and Gareth recently confirmed it in their post. And asked some of the friends too before.
I am sure they would drop a text before taking legal action if anything goes wrong and I can cut out the part.

I love the HiSenior Mega5EST so much, but my pair started acting up a few days ago, after only 4-5 months of very light use. The dynamic driver on the left side is rattling and is lower in volume, and doesn't sound like it used to.

Has anyone filed a warranty claim with HiSenior before? What kind of warranty do they offer? It's really disappointing that my pair is having issues, especially because I treat my IEMs with such care, and I paid quite a lot of money for them. They do sound amazing, and I want to keep them.
