1 headphone to keep for life for you. Susvara or Caldera?I highly advice to go for Verite Open instead, Atrium might lack resolution after switching from Susvara. Verite on the otherhand keeps all the dynamic driver ZMF tuning qualities and combines it with great resolution and speed.
Is this a poll? Susvara1 headphone to keep for life for you. Susvara or Caldera?
This is the susvara thread so you can figure out whitch one is gonna win the poll . But i haven t heard caldera, sorry.1 headphone to keep for life for you. Susvara or Caldera?
I voted while listening to my Caldera and I no longer own a Susvara. That said, if you're only going to own one and you want the benchmark then the Susvara is it.This is the susvara thread so you can figure out whitch one is gonna win the poll . But i haven t heard caldera, sorry.
Every time I think about buying a new HP the pros and cons seem to balance, and Sus keeps coming out on top. Call me boring but I’m turning into a ‘one headphone guy’ (I do have Arya V2 and Focal Clear OG but they don’t get much head time). As the ZMFs are all custom (nonreturnable) IIRC I feel like I need to hear one before I’d shell out $2500++ . It’d need to deliver something both different and superior to Sus to my ears or I’d just stick with what I have already.I voted while listening to my Caldera and I no longer own a Susvara. What amp do you use with your arya v2?Every time I think about buying a new HP the pros and cons seem to balance, and Sus keeps coming out on top. I guess that’s why there are CJs, so we can get ears on headphones!
One, of many, ZMF benefits is there is a steady market for used models and the "trial fee" of buying a used one and selling it when you've made a decision is fairly low.As the ZMFs are all custom (nonreturnable) IIRC I feel like I need to hear one before I’d shell out $2500++ . You can try susvara and get refund if you dont like it, but with a fee. I think its 5% of the price but im not sure. It is in hifiman web. Many people send them back because of lack of power and to dont know they need to burn in. Out of the box they sound quite bad at first. One, of many, ZMF benefits is there is a steady market for used models and the "trial fee" of buying a used one and selling it when you've made a decision is fairly low.
That is exactly right. I just sold my Verite Open a few days ago and now listed my Auteur. One, of many, ZMF benefits is there is a steady market for used models and the "trial fee" of buying a used one and selling it when you've made a decision is fairly low.
I just looked at the Dekoni site for compatible Sus pads but didn't see a perf leather option. Do your pads correspond with any of the ones listed?Change the pads, I have dekoni perforated leather ones and it’s better than stock for heat.
They call it "fenestrated". They're... the very first set of pads.I just looked at the Dekoni site for compatible Sus pads but didn't see a perf leather option. Do your pads correspond with any of the ones listed?
