This is actually science too! Music and it frequencies are noises...not just a simple sinuous waves as people would imagine but they are by itself “noises”. It can only make senses when people hear noises and take it as music :)
I believe there are electronic noise occur from the machines like PC or dac and amp. EMI also is not good for audio stuff, ground boxes are to minimize this kind of noise I think. That is just what I heard from others and I believe if you try it and notice the improvements, and you think it is worth for paying the money, then just go for it. If trying it results just no difference, then it is fine to ignore it. Thats how I feel for buying and trying something new.

May I know if anyone has try the pads from dekoni? At the end, do you suggest using the original pad or the other two pads from dekoni? Thanks

Can the susvara handle amp output of 300 watts per channel without He Adapter?
I used my Hegel H20 250 watt per channel with out the HE adapter with no issues using a K1000 adapter cable directly to the speaker outputs.
Just watch volume level ,ran it at 10:30 to 11:00 on the preamp volume control.

Thank you for your replies. If I accidently turned the volumn knob all the way, would this headphone survive? Have you experienced any background noise? I want to get a TA PA 3100 INT amp because in the future i plan to buy a set of loudspeakers. Its even better to know the Susvara can work with this amp.

I always turn the volume down when shutting the system down, never tried full volume not a good idea even with speakers
No background noise dead quite with the Hegal H20 or pass labs XA25.
I also use a lot of power conditioning as well as a Caprice audio Mosaic grounding block

Passlabs XA25 Looks like a great amp in speaker application reviews but gets very hot to touch like a tube amp. The price compares well with the dedicated HP amps as well. Any compare this amp with Susvara to XI Formula S/powerman?

I'd go with Pass for Susvara with no questions asked not only because of its power output, but... it's a Pass. :L3000:

I've heard two Pass products at my place and have F7 nearby. That's enough for me.

I've had three Pass amps with the Susvara. Between the three, I honestly don't know how I'd rank them on merit or preference. But this is how I'd describe each with one word:

First Watt J2: Clean
INT-150: Deep
X150.8: Full

Sounds lasciviously lurid... :joy:

I am very interested in the Pass XA25 speaker amp for the Susvara and how it compares with two other dedicated HP amps that are a bit more expensive, the XI Formula S with and the
RIVIERA AIC- 10 which has a single tube to play with character of sound and may give clean, deep, and full all in one package.

I have the Aic10 riviera and I confirm that it sounds great with Susvara, now the Benchmark ahb2 has arrived and he too is very interesting, even if it was taken for a new setup with Raal Sr1a.

Please let us know your impressions comparing the AIC 10 Riviera with the Benchmark ahb2. With its very low noise floor it may be more transparent when used as a headphone amp with the Susvara. It is also a steal at its list price.
