Hey guys. I'm on the market for new headphones and stumbled across Sundara. I been reading a lot of negativity regarding Quality Control. Is that true?
I got a bad pair (channel imbalance), bit hifiman exchanged them quickly and i love mine.

I started with the HE400i almost 4 years ago & despite the mostly plastic construction they are still doing fine, save for the headband finally falling apart, cost me $10.00 to replace..My Sundara are SUPERB!Solid build feel like a TOLT headphone..Beautifully voiced & compare well to my Sennheiser HD800S...IMO the Sundara is THE under $500.00 headphone!

Put a few hundred hours on the Sundara's before you worry about the amp..The D1 is not a bad DAC,especially with an NOS tube in it..The Sundara's LOVE transformer coupled tubes!
