Anybody tried SMSL A300, a cheap but highly regarded power AMP with HE6SE?
I think that's what happened to mine. I was using ZMF leather pads.Solid leather pads can introduce membrane crinkling when putting headphones on/off or moving around due to pressure change, which might lead to struck to the magnet membrane. Fenestrated leather of hybrids should not be a problem.
I hear crinkling on mine (v1) with the stock pads as well. No stuck magnets as of yet though.Solid leather pads can introduce membrane crinkling when putting headphones on/off or moving around due to pressure change, which might lead to struck to the magnet membrane. I had it too, with stock and then with solid leather pads. None with Dekoni Fenestrated though.I hear crinkling on mine (v1) with the stock pads as well. No stuck magnets as of yet though.
The stock pads are pretty good too. I am very happy with them.Hmm. Well, neither my Eikon pads nor my Alpha pads are perforated. I guess I'll add some Dekoni Elite Hybrid pads to the list, too. The fully fenestrated Dekonis look like they attenuate some of the sub-bass, which, no, gimme all dat bass. The hybrids look to almost imperceptibly alter the sound and are at least fenestrated on the inside, so I guess those are the ones to get.

Anybody tried upgrade cable like Norne, DHC?
I use the Hart Audio Cable system and my 3.5mm cable gets lots of use.Anybody tried upgrade cable like Norne, DHC?
I use the Drausk Lite and love it! Listening to Robben Ford's new album with it right now.I used Norne Draug V3 with HE6Vse2. The improvement was quite well specifically in the bass region. Meatier while tighter and more slam.
