So you guys are thinking about a $3000 headphone to amplify with a $750 amp? :))

I mean sure no problems, but yeah, it'll scale....

Wonder how the HE1000 would sound with the Gustard H10?
A $350.00 amp? :D
I ordered another one just to find out...
Will be doing a head to head between the Gustard H10 and the Beta 22 with the HE1000. Lol.

Yeah, all joking aside, I actually believe the Gustard H10 will actually sound really good with the HE1000, despite the low price, especially considering how well the Gustard sounds with the HE-500 and HE-560.
Probably not quite as good as with the Beta 22 amp, but we will see

Well the H10 is a clone of a ~$1K amp after all....can't wait for mine to be delivered.

Your replies to my PM definitely made me feel more confident in choosing to buy the H10.

Glad to help a fellow headfier out
Just make sure you give the Gustard a chance and give it a minimum of 70 hours break-in...
Yeah, I really like the Beta 22, but I need more gain than the 2x.
I am thinking about modding the gain to the default 8x.
Can't wait to actually compare it to the Gustard, especially with the HE-1000 :)
And I am not ashamed or embarrassed in the least to team up a $350.00 amp with a $3,000.00 headphone. The Gustard punches way above its price range in sonics, imho.

Damn, nice! Probably will never buy the H-1000 but I'm for sure interested to see what comes out on top.

Looking at the specs real quick I suspect it will be the same as if paired with the HE-560 but the HE-1000 is different in sound signature anyway so I'll be on the lookout for your comparison.

Interesting, which amp is the H10 a clone of ?

^Yeah, V200

"This is a Chinese clone of the Violectric V200 with independent power supply per channel and volume control pod soldered directly on the circuit board."

And I saw one mention of someone expressing how the H10, to his ears, is better than the V200.

If I were to get the HE1000 then I wouldn't settle for less than TOTL equipment to drive it.

What is TOTL, a $50,000 Krell Speaker Amp? You could make a case for it...
