eheheh... possible:sunglasses:, but not serious anyway...
I challenged her about the specs, lets see what she replies
however, too late, EF400 is already on its way...the only doubt now is about the HE6se, that I would like to buy...

PS: apologies, I am a bit OT in this thread

The EF400 was driving my HE6seV2 with ease. To my ears it was a very good duo.

thanks linknet.
Any difference between V2 (the blue one, correct?) and 6se black (attached)?
It looks like they have same sensitivity

Received the HE1000 Stealth this evening and I've been listening to it for ~2hrs with the supplied balanced XLR cable via my WA33.
These sound fantastic--can't wait to hit ~100hrs and these settle to compare them to my HE1000v2. With the ridiculous prices of TOTL headphones these days--these are an absolute steal, and in my opinion definitely a TOTL headphone regardless.

PS: I've never seen it mentioned before, but could've missed it.
The black foam securing the headphones inside the box when removed acts as a headphone stand with an acrylic base--I think this is a pretty cool, simple idea to make use of the packaging.

This morning reply from Hifiman customer support I contacted yesterday:
"Sorry, EF400 is not suitable for HE6se"...
I am a bit surprised, the power supplied should be within the specs...maybe there's not much in excess and EF400 might be a bit "strained", but even "not suitable"...
anyone here who has this gear working? EF400+HE6se?
The headphone is advertised as a power hungry unit, I suspect you need more than what they suggest.
You can try asking on HE6se thread

Agree with you on the foam stand, what a great idea!
Curious what DAC are you using?

I'm using a Holo Audio Spring 3 KTE.
My gear is listed in the 'About' section of my profile.
Nice gears! I'm sure the Spring 3 and Woo amp must sound fantastic.
My friend just lend me Lampizator Big7 (1st gen), enjoying it for the whole day now. don't have any plans to return it
2 months ago I was not a DAC believer, and my friend really changed my mind. Now I wish I have a better amp than my v222, to reveal the full potential of the DAC and He1000 stealth

Thank you very much.
Never hear any Lampizator DAC's but have read nothing god about them.
I must say, though, that I'm 100% happy with my DAC--it's the second Spring DAC I've owned with both, my GS-X mk2 and WA33 and I love the pairing with all my headphones.
