My new HE-6 entry level rig:

HifiMAN HE-6

Emotiva Mini-X a-100

Audio GD NFB 3.32

The very minimum required for the HE-6 to sound good. I really love the sound with this setup although I can see myself upgrading this setup it is still the best sound I ve heard off any equipment I own.

A review coming soon,  in a week.

How will the entry level setup perform? Wait and read :) But not too shabby would be my first impressions :) Cheers guys!

EDIT: The picture quality will be improved of course :)

That's a very nice setup there. That Emotiva is big.

For a speaker amp it's fairly small or at least most speaker amps I've seen as there are exceptions. It's roughly the same size as my dac except a bit longer. For under $200 it's a bargain since most headphone amps struggle with the HE6.

True and only 11.4 pounds. It could be that picture. I remember when I had Krell monos, each weigh 85 pounds unboxed.

So now that you've had it for a while, how did it work out over the Gungnir or V200?
