Disagree strongly, sold my tricked out 560 when I picked up a pair of LCD-3f, they and the LCD-X are superior headphones. While I loved my 560s, Audeze is better, IMO.

Haha! As I always say, we all hear differently. As with our sources and chain. :)

Looking for a new amp for my 560 i'm considering Gustard H10 and Yulong A28. Anyone have experience with both? I would buy Gustard instantly if i could get it in europe but with customs and taxes price will be very close to Yulong amp.

Still on the fence about this purchase.  Do you guys think the HE-560 complements the LCD-2F enough to own both?

My main goal is to get a bit more treble air, soundstage, and speed for classical music and just faster music in general.  But I'm not sure whether or not this is different enough from the LCD-2F to warrant a purchase.

I have them both and like them both. And yes, the 560 will deliver what you are looking for compared to the LCD2F in my opinion.

Cheers,
K

Can't compare Audeze, have only heard them in short bursts at meets, but, while I loved my 560 when I got it, when I got the HE-1000, it stopped getting any use (sell it one of these days, but people will havet to pry it out of my clenched fingers when I do). the 560 is a great set of cans, but NOT the ultimate. In fact, I used to go back and forth between it and the Koss ESP 950, which each did different things terrifically, and seemed pretty close to each other (to me) overall (it also collects dust now...).

Of course, this required buying something that lists for 3 times as much.

I couldn't stand the LCD-X at all when compared to the 560.  The 3 however, was very nice.

I ended up going for the 3f, the X was bettered by the HD800.

TMRaven have you heard the Dharma or Edition X yet?

+1. I had the Xs and got the 3s. Sent the X's back as I preferred the 560s. I feel they compliment the 3s nicely. For now this setup is good. Don't see myself upgrading headphones for awhile but maybe gear soonish. Lot of it depends on your gear as well. My 3Fs love the Schiit stuff, shines on my mjolnir where the 560s sound a bit flat. However, the 560s and the 3Fs on my WA6SE are both fantastic.

I'm not interested in the Dharma after looking at its distortion problems.  However, the Edition X is a headphone I'm real interested in, along with the HD800S.

I had a Yulong A18 paired with my 560 and it was an excellent combination. Not sure about the A28.
