Question to whoever has the new HE560: How long is the fabric cable? Same as the original preorder rubber one?

Fabric cable was same length as pre-order cable.
 
My 560s are already in Fedex's hands so no pics here.  It's not a massive difference from the preorder box, but it's not as wide, slightly taller, and the padding inside conforms nicely to the shape of the 560 now.  The wood was a little more reddish in color.  They even put a plastic cover on top of the aluminum lid for protection how about that.  It's still no Audeze travel case or Oppo wooden product box though.
 
 
30 minutes into HE-400 listening and I have a slight hotspot on the top of my head.  Damnit!

Substitute, HE-4 for HE-6... I had a permanent hotspot in the middle. New headband ftw

Well it looks to be perforated, so no. However it wouldn't be as permeable as the first version of the earpads which had mesh fabric lining the undersides - that is about as much as you can push it.

Apparently, it seems so. In other words it sounds like there ain't much damping of the pads after all. When will you get the new 560's yourself?
