I love both my HD600 and HE500 and would never give up either.

That HD650 on the other hand.......... (meh)

Is there that much of a difference with the HD650 and HD600?

I sold my HD650 because I found them a bit too dark and slow. I am thinking of getting a pair of HD600 again.

I don't think I got the best out of my HE500's until I plugged them into my power outlets.

They really made the sirens sound like they were coming from down the street. Incredible sound stage.

The best solution is to get XLR balanced cables and connect each one to a nuclear power plant. You get explosive bass and treble. You get a massive soundstage as well like you are the nucleus of an atom and all the electrons are flying around you. try it. Maybe it was just expectation bias I am not sure I did not get a chance to blind A/B it.

Do you guys think that hifiman will release another headphone anytime soon?  I'm thinking about buying the HE500, but if they are going to release one soon, I'll wait.

Staring my arduous research process now that I'm positive I'm going to buy the HE-500 within a year, my preliminary research is pointing towards the LittleDot MK VI+ amp, anyone have any experience with that pair?

I want to use it balanced with my PS Audio DLIII.

Hm, then what do you think the HE-500 does better?

Not trying to draw a pissing match, btw. I'm just genuinely curious. Your body language and words at the meet led me to believe that you found them equal.

The HE500 does bass better and has more separation in general.  However, I'll throw a disclaimer out there that I don't have a ton of experience with the HD600/HD650.

The always forgotten search function

I tried the search function, just doesn't work so well with me.

I guess I need to be patient with both the search tool and waiting. I want a new headphone even though I have a feeling the he400 would sound pretty darn close to the he500. Maybe I should get the LCD2 while waiting and saving for the next hifiman.

I am going to look for your post, my guess is you mention your amp at least twice in it.....

Which one? The wonderful one i have now or my even more wonderful still to be finished new one? :D

I didnt mention it to be honest....i just copy paste a mail conversation that i had with head direct customer service. And they gave good news

But reading between the lines i feel u think i mention my amp (which one?) to much? Well...maybe i love my amp so much i cant stop talking bout it... :D but thank u for the hint..i will mention it less...promise :p

Ps..For anyone interested..my post is on page 362  and its around the middle of that page.
Hope that helps to find the post :xf_eek:
