Is it a great idea to pair the he-400i with the sony NW-A35 dap plus ALO the international AMP??since im still using my samsung s7 as the audio source...please do give a advice if there are other better alternative dap.still new to this

Not sure how the dac in the international would work with the he400i, but it is a beast for an amp that size. You should easily have plenty of power. Can't comment on the Sony, I've only had the alo international. Oh, and I've only ran the international balanced, I can't comment on the single 3.5mm jack.

Been there, done that. Ditched focus pads.

Hi folks. Are there different revisions of HE400i? I'm a bit confused as to why prices in Amazon are different. I was thinking that the cheaper price might be an earlier revision of HE400i and the more expensive are the revision which has patches or fixes.

I'm not a super expert on the past versions of the HE400i, but yes there is one general difference: past versions used to feature twist-to-lock F connectors in the detachable cables. Now the HE400i uses the more traditional (and more practical) 2.5 mm jacks.
I think there were also versions along the way with differences in the grill, though I can't begin to tell you how, when, and what differences it makes. I only have the new version with the 2.5 mm jacks, none of the other past iterations.
