It is indeed very hard to tune planars past 2 kHz from what I have heard, so generally speaking balance throughout the upper mids and treble is hard to achieve, especially cranking out some proper air in the high treble.
Am not surprised if the HE-560 won't be up there with the he-6, it seems they did a hell of a job in tuning and pricking the right materials for that headphone, as they have achieved balance and treble air with overall very good distortion levels and clean sound.
