all edition x i have seen had a socket in both cups so would need 4.4 to 2x mono 3.5...

sorry I looked at your post then looked at Ali description ( it says it is a cable for hifiman edition x ) and got those 2 mixed up ;]

Did anyone try to update Hifiman Deva new firmware? Can you guys let me know please if you succeeded?
Also would like ask how about volume increase graduation. I have volume step jump from not enough loud to next step is too loud. Anyone experiencing same?

I'm not for sure that I want to mess with something that is working so well. I use the LDAC protocol whenever possible, and it's fantastic. Updates aren't always a good thing, but who knows?

I have tested it with Bluetooth and USB connection and sound level progression is better than the Ananda BT large jumps.

for me, it is not really important which firmware but the procedure to update it. Getting DEVA to DFU mode is not working for me.

I struggle to update mine - it took 3 attempts - only then I realised I am reading the instructions wrong - I was trying to run wrong file from the folder....
Once I realised what I was doing wrong it went flawless - So make sure you are following the instructions to the dot ;]
