Hmm, not sure about that.  I thought for a fact that they were redesigning that for the 262 due to the fit issues.

can anybody tell me , as the dac used is a current output dac why is LPF Op-amp: OP275, OPA2604 used as an output stage why not just a resistor and cap?
or maybe im misunderstanding (wouldnt be the first time

If this player sinks the boat, the earbuds will act as the life-jacket :)  Let's just hope this wasn't intended by Fang... I care more about the player than anything else.

In the context in which it was used, I believe the boat represents the expectations for the player.  Impressions that fail to live up to such standards could result in the boat "sinking" in people's minds (people come to think less of it and become disappointed or uninterested).
