Yes, the higher the res the more battery power required. Also the size of the file increases. If your low on power and you want the battery to last, then go for mp3 if you have them.
I'm not to sure in those circumstances. Is the sound you hear when using SRC altered from normal setting, if so it may well use more power

I bought MicroSD Card sandisk 533X 128GB and I put some music in there but, my AP100 cannot read it.
It's FAT32 format and my computer can read-write and see this MicroSD.
My firmware was the lastest (7.0).
Do you have any suggest?
Did you try any lower capacity micro SD cards such as 32 or 64gb? If it cannot read either just contact with Hidizs and send it to get fixed or for a replacement.

Hey I just got a AP100 and it has 73 beta loaded on it. I was wondering if anyone was able to get around the 5800 scanned file limit.
