Yes, UAT works on any Android mobile phone which can install the HibyMusic app. iPhone can work with AAC and SBC.

And UAT would work playing back from a Hiby R6 pro DAP I would think.

R6 pro is what I plan to get.

Currently using FiiO M9 and Radsone ES100 LDAC - balanced 2.5 mm output. I love the ES100 eq I can remotely control via the EarStudio (iphone) app. I hope the Hiby eq is as good.

I wouldn't put much weight on that comment unless all reviews are in agreement that it is V shaped. The W5 uses the ES9218p DAC+amp SoC.

Sorry, it does not have balanced out. You could use an adapter with your balanced cable; and then listen to single ended output. Adapters are available on eBay, Aliexpress and other places.

Yes, BUT, Please Double check THAT particular adapter. From your photo, that looks like a 3.5mm BALANCED(It has 4 connectors), to 2.5mm Balanced adapter. It IS possible that they are not using all 4 terminals on the 3.5mm jack. But can't know for sure from that photo. Perhaps you can ask that supplier if this will allow you to connect a 2.5mm Balanced Headphone cable to a Single Ended 3.5mm output from an audio player.

This one I know is correctly wired. It has a 3.5MM Single ended (with 3 connectors on the tip), to 2.5mm Balanced.

Received my Hiby W5 from pre-order (kickstarter) yesterday ....... I must say i am impressed with this little thing ..... it's better than my es100 in terms of soundstage, sound quality, and drive-ability of the amp ..... i am enjoying it alot .... however, i can't seem to use UAT in both of my phones (Huawei Honor Play and Nokia 6.1) .... i upgraded its firmware using the hiby blue app ....
