No doubt most will think it sounds better even though it doesn't. Also it looks only suitable to drive iems.
IMO AAC and aptx is sufficient. Amp/dac quality is way more important. Mostly the quality of these in most bt receivers and headphones isn't that great. The Fiio Q5 is an exception.

What we are focusing on is the overall performance compare with the others, we’ve put our best efforts to push the standard from the most important fundamental basis which is the transmission quality. Every product has a reason exist on the market, however, we’re confidence that the W5 can give the performance that pushes the boundaries.

From the specifications, it looks like theauris has a higher output power than the Fiio btr3. How that compares to the Radsone ES100, dunno...

What we are focusing on is the overall performance compare with the others, we’ve put our best efforts to push the standard from the most important fundamental basis which is the transmission quality, and W5 also comes with a unique design comparing with the others. The output power of W5 is higher than btr3, and similar to es100. However, as we said, we put more emphasis on overall performance.

It really is a tiny device... ( Next to HiBy R3 that is already small. ) https://www.hibymusic.net/

What we count for the battery life is using the highest music quality, usually, the W5 can play up to 5 hours in most cases. As we said, “we want to provide the finest Hi-Fi experience”, that’s why we put the music quality as our first priority.
Thank you for your response. I am curious for how much it will take to recharge from 0 to 100? For people who use it at work, before lunch, they can connect it to charge. Once back from the lunch, they would like to listen for another 4-5 hrs.

Already been said but not good form factor (shape) and bad idea of charging cradle. Not a fan of capacitive controls either but probably needed for waterproofing.

I am interested in the this new UAT codec? though. Higher bandwidth than LDAC and works with any device running the Hiby app? If so, and assuming the transmission is stable, could be a game changer. No more pondering whether my phone supports every bluetooth protocol.

I've read this online, and now here. So does that mean that UAT won't work with iPhones, even if they have HiByMusic app installed?
Yes, UAT works on any Android mobile phone which can install the HibyMusic app. iPhone can work with AAC and SBC.
