As far as I know, opa1652x2 and class A output is similar to Ibasso Dx300/320 stock amp module. The Vrms output look to be lower than ibasso

@Whitigir what do you think of the battery highly possible it'll be change able ?

the battery seems highly user changeable as the copper frame is encasing it with the bottom against the screen and the back is then screw on with the titanium back plate. You may need to buy the copper frame with battery together. But then …. Do HIBY sell them ?

The move on battery frame is very smart. I kept telling people that the battery and the screen, both can cause noises if not isolated. But everyone follows the trend of A&K. I & Steve had been doing battery wrapping since a few years back

The battery part is exciting but the output power is not so exciting. Even the mid rangers M7 and DX240 have better power output figures than RS8.

Musicteck I believe would help you within warranty date... They don't do the repairs so most likely sent back.

Besides the mentioned low output power (not mattering much for IEMs but for overear planars) I see improvements over RS6 but still a big gap to TOTL delta sigma DAPs like N8II (power wise RS8 is even topping N8II though but not by much and almost all other TOTL DAPs on the market are stronger here)
Anyone having specs for LP6 to name one of the better R2R competition DAPs?
I know that also in the desktop world manufacturers have been struggling to match delta sigma specs and only few have managed (Holo Audio is one example)

Yes, as far as I know, Musicteck only service here in the US with desktop amplifiers. DAPs are taking the trips, or some got the “approval for straight swap”. That is why at this moment, I will only look toward those products where I can get parts from, especially battery. Also, some problems can easily be fixed up, just as long as you get the parts and know what you are doing, like Wifi signals, and or with the helps from local smartphone techies. Waiting for the trip that takes couple months ? May as well buying the next flagship from the same or other brands LOL
