For the friends that tested this RS6 and AK SP2000T, which one you suggest as the "can only have one" DAP?

Between these two I just have to give it to the SP2000 T, it's a more refined sound. Better technicalities in terms of like separation, dynamics, details etc, and it has all 3 ports up top. The RS6 to me is more of a colored sounding DAP where the SP2000T is quite neutral with some warmth, so I find the SP2000 T has better synergy across multiple gear where the RS6 is more of like a "when it matches, its very good" type DAP.

That's interesting...I had the SP2000T ordered and cancelled as my local dealer didn't have an ETA. Now I see they have the RS6 and was wondering if that would be a good option.

The outputs on the bottom also bothers me. Detail...details... :)

Thanks for the comments.

That's over a $1K difference in price which I'm sure you know. You can flip the screen on the RS6 so that the outputs are on the top BTW.

Of course. I wouldn't expect the RS6 to beat the SP2000T. It's $1100 more expensive. If you had said that they were even close, then that's a HUGE win for the RS6 value wise.

More expensive not always correlate to better, as we all know. The price at this point is not in the table as I have the budget separated to cover either. Is more about how does it sound compared to each other.

I have a rough idea of AK as I had two and heard most of them since SR15 came to life. They are quite neutral and some times bright except the AKM versions, those are a bit more lush. Not that the ESS versions bothers me. :)

Same reasons I'd still pick the R8 over RS6, price notwithstanding. More refined, more technical, more neutral. Doesn't change the fact that RS6 is a uniquely coloured and beautifully voiced DAP though.

You have to on wifi go mseb local.
There is some old plugins too both in mseb and plugins.
Ok I found them, but how they work?
