For the friends that tested this RS6 and AK SP2000T, which one you suggest as the "can only have one" DAP?
(@aaf evo looking at you, mate... )
That's interesting...I had the SP2000T ordered and cancelled as my local dealer didn't have an ETA. Now I see they have the RS6 and was wondering if that would be a good option.Between these two I just have to give it to the SP2000 T, it's a more refined sound. Better technicalities in terms of like separation, dynamics, details etc, and it has all 3 ports up top. The RS6 to me is more of a colored sounding DAP where the SP2000T is quite neutral with some warmth, so I find the SP2000 T has better synergy across multiple gear where the RS6 is more of like a "when it matches, its very good" type DAP.
That's over a $1K difference in price which I'm sure you know. You can flip the screen on the RS6 so that the outputs are on the top BTW.That's interesting...I had the SP2000T ordered and cancelled as my local dealer didn't have an ETA. The outputs on the bottom also bothers me. Detail...details...
Thanks for the comments.
Of course. I wouldn't expect the RS6 to beat the SP2000T. It's $1100 more expensive. If you had said that they were even close, then that's a HUGE win for the RS6 value wise.Between these two I just have to give it to the SP2000 T, it's a more refined sound. Same reasons I'd still pick the R8 over RS6, price notwithstanding. More refined, more technical, more neutral. Doesn't change the fact that RS6 is a uniquely coloured and beautifully voiced DAP though.Between these two I just have to give it to the SP2000 T, it's a more refined sound.
