Thanks for the heads up @WDitters, downloaded. I was hoping there would be new Darwin components but don't see any. @Joe Bloggs is the V2 package referenced in the RS8 thread applicable to RS6. If so, could you provide a link and brief instructions as to how to install? Thanks so much!

Sounds like you need to turn off crossfade in the Apple Music app’s settings. I think it’s on by default on android.

UAPP and Hiby music can happily co-exist... Not necessary to disable Hiby music. But UAPP in principle does everything that Hiby Music does and more...

I have a question about the RS6, I’ll tag Hiby as well but saw your name and thought I’d post it here to say hello…

My RS6 says disabled when I try to save a custom tuning. What’s the best way to fix this because I have saved many before and it worked and now all of a sudden it doesn’t. I have 2 of these RS6 daps and they both started doing this at the same time. One has many saved presets and the other has none, just for reference.

Which app / plugin are you referring to?

If it's something within the HiByMusic app, could it be that you're playing something like MQA or DSD when trying to do this? Or could the master switch to the EQ / plugin itself indeed be off?

It’s when I use Qobuz but it’s in the MSEB settings. It says disabled when I try to save a preset.

I don't know why it would be disabled for Qobuz, but you van certainly get around that by creating and saving a setting in the systemwide MSEB instead?

I was talking about the MSEB settings… they work no matter what I’m streaming from… here’s the thing. I’m an idiot. I had the little toggle on the top switched off.

Bloody hell this is a long thread! I'm reading it all, as I have one on the way, but could someone please confirm for me that the RS6 can function as an external DAC and amp, using my laptop as source like the RS2 can? The ad copy in the hiby site doesn't mention it (whereas it does for the RS2). Thanks in advance!
