Awesome. Happy to hear that the sonic performance is a step up from the R5. In your opinion, would you say that the upper mids and lower treble are fairly neutral, bright, or laid back? Compared to your R5 as well.
R-2R architecture is usually not good on papers.Firstly I look up to Tech specs of RS2 e.g. THD+N, SNR, Crosstalk. I feel disappointed. Though, reading some early reviews make me interest. Look forward to reading more full-version reviews.
I doubt there are anybody else who have received one yet, official release is end August or start SeptemberDoes anyone ready to share some more impressions?

I only use streaming for sampling/discovering new music, actual playing is from my local library so this player could be perfect and will be my first sample of r2r soundIf it was possible to have streaming, I would have certainly bought it. I almost exclusively listen to Tidal. I will keep my RU6 that gives me a lot of satisfaction. When you try R2R Dac, there is no way back
Many people in China has listened rs2 during events organised by Hiby, or where Hiby took a part…I doubt there are anybody else who have received one yet, official release is end August or start September
Some comments suggested RS2 is similar to RS6, though comments in chinese forum are usually less reliable (more paid shills than real customers feedback). Many people in China has listened rs2 during events organised by Hiby, or where Hiby took a part…
May I know the brief specs. of FiiO M11S?Now I have three choices to choose from: RS2 (R2R in small form factor), DX170 (successor of my current favorite small DAP), M11s (not release yet, the page on Fiio is also not published, a little too large than my taste). I also have thoughts on second hand SR25 mk2 and MW1A.
