True but they could have brought round just enough before the ports start and that would hold it. And they could have a side entry point like in the new ddhif case for the Cayin N6ii.
New problem now in relation to MQA through Tidal. On MQA tracks not only is there a half-second gap as it shifts from eg 96k to being fully unfolded by the R8. On about one-in-four occasions, the tracks starts in slow motion before the unfolding happens. Then it goes to normal speed. Anyone else getting this? Any ideas?
Hopping on to say that I have encountered a similar issue in the native Tidal app from Google Play on my R8. When newly playing an MQA track or hitting Next/Last, the song won't start until about the 0:02 second mark. If I manually scrub to 0 seconds, the dropout shifts to about the 0:03-0:04 mark. Once an album is actively playing though, seems like there are no skips when tracks end and begin normally. No issue when playing Tidal through UAPP, and have not seen this before on my R6 Pro or LG V30. Already informed Musicteck, and Andrew went ahead and forwarded my report to Hiby.

By the way, which firmware version do you guys have? The version 1.1 has some small bugs and the USB DAC feature is not available. I have the firmware version 1.11 I got from Lieven which fixes some of these bugs and has the USB DAC feature enabled. 1.11 is one month old and as I understand Hiby is still working on it. I have seen some freeze with 1.11 using an external DAC (I think it happened after I removed the USB connection), so that might be why they didn't release it, but possibly they are still working on a stabilized new firmware at the moment - which should come hopefully soon.
I like it. I don't listen to it as much as some of my other IEMs, but I find it as my most relaxing IEM for some reason. It is great for me personally when I just want to lay back on the couch and close my eyes.
